Here's a little steel press plate planter I made for my new Grand Daugther.
Anybody know what these plates were used for? The sides have a Christmas motif and the front and back have a flower. There were two plates with the same design on each half- I cut them down the middle to make the panels.

LAWN SPRINKLER LAMP- $90 **SOLD**
Once I dug myself out from under the sink after replacing the kitchen faucet I threw the old stainless water hoses in the bucket to save for a later project. Now that I'm making this crazy stuff I always find a use for things....it didn't take long, two hours to be exact, to put these to good use.
Above- the hoses cover most of the electrical cord and the rod holding the lamp
The shade is steel and pretty old, I'm guessing. It's been completely sandblasted, cleaned and powder coated using a chrome-finish powder. The inside is done in flat black paint and the switch is in the back.
The base and neck has been glass bead blasted, buffed and features a unique bearing insert so that the brass water spray arms and adjustable dial still function as original.
The base was left with a lot of the original patina and rust holes from many years sitting in the basement of an old barn.
The lamp head is flexible and can be rotated approx. 360 degrees, the lamp head is not affected because of the bearing I machined into the stem.
A nice reading lamp with a small spot bulb.
Thanks for checking out my stuff.

Clampmeister 3000- SALE PRICE- $150

ON SALE $150
This one combines a huge valve spring clamp and diesel piston and when assembled becomes a clock/lamp or "cl-amp" hence, Clampmeister 3000.
Re-purposed parts and tools brings this together in a one-of-a-kind lamp which will be the focal point of the room, garage or man cave.
It's heavy, it's large, it's dynamic (the handle on the clamp can be moved) and functional. The parts have been cleaned enough to still retain the patina that any mechanic would appreciate.
The vintage styled socket and Edison bulb is wired with braided nylon cord just like back in the day and it's controlled with a nifty little steel "knobby thingy" on the left. The old aluminum explosion-proof lamp cage can easily be removed for bulb replacement (although the bulb does fit through the cage) or socket repair.
There's a motorcycle sprocket and chain for the base (bottom has foam non-slip, non- marring pads) and gears and spring thrown in for the heck of it!
I can be contacted at tricklidz@yahoo.com for shipping/delivery info.
Thanks for checking it out.
